   Dear Fethiye,
   I’m so glad that you put those pictures. I just took almond flowers myself an hour ago. Being on the Ida Mountains feels great. Tomorrow we’ll go to Burhaniye Market with Erhan. I know it’ll feel like summer. I hope to see my beloved market people there. Lots of love, Tijen

   Tijen, I wish we had an almond tree in our backyard! Now I am trying to remember if I ever saw almond blossoms… Will you be posting that pic?

   Thanks for these beautifiul flowers. After the cold days, it has been sunny and warm here in Istanbul for the last 2 days. I’m happy, spring is approaching!

   The pictures you take are wonderful and really capture the essence of the food. It makes all of your examples look so tasty! I will have to try a number of them.
